Lindsay Dunckel, Executive Director, FIrst 5 Nevada County
Lindsay is a graduate of Columbia University (B.A.) and the City University of New York (Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology). She previously served as the Program Coordinator for Parent Support and Education for First 5 Nevada County, where she developed the Welcome Baby program and other parenting programs in response to community need. She has worked as a childcare worker in a foster care agency, as a preschool teacher, as a parent educator, as a parent support group leader, and as a researcher in issues around infancy, parenting, and developmental disabilities. Lindsay lives in Grass Valley with her husband, daughter and son.

Shannon Pelline, Bookkeeper
Shannon joined First 5 Nevada County in the fall of 2007. She has served in several different administrative and financial capacities for architectural and construction firms, most recently as the General Manager of a San Francisco architectural firm. Along with her husband Jeff, she resides in Nevada City with her 7-year-old son.
